Hi there. I’m Nicky Haldenby and I am a Formula 1 content creator. I’ve been creating engaging motorsport content for the past six years.
I founded the Lights Out F1 Blog ahead of the 2016 Formula 1 season. The site has since become one of the leading Formula 1 statistics websites, featuring a plethora of unique statistical insights into the world of F1.
Aside from my own website, I work at F1Destinations, sharing the latest Formula 1 calendar news and sharing advice for fans attending each Grand Prix on the calendar.
At Motorsport Guides, I write travel guides for Formula 1, Formula E, WEC and MotoGP.
Aside from my written work, I am the resident stats man on the 2 Soft Compounds podcast, a role which I have held since the start of the 2019 season. My own podcast, F1 Rewind, delves deep into the Formula 1 archives and tells lesser-heard tales from over 70 years of motorsport history.
My work has also featured on WTF1, Sky Sports F1, BBC Radio 5 Live, Badger GP and motorsport.com.
